This series includes invitations, menus, programs, and cards created by the Calligraphy Office for events hosted by the White House. These materials were produced by the White House in large quantities and the items in the Printed Ephemera series represent a sample of the materials that were left over from White House events. At least three copies of each item were sampled for this series, unless fewer were located. Some materials in this series were hand-painted and copies of such items may appear in various stages of completion.

Tina Turner (born Anna Mae Bullock; November 26, 1939 – May 24, 2023) was known as the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll", she rose to prominence as the lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue before launching a successful career as a solo performer.
